Lán Dì Press

Lán Dì Press is a publishing house specialised in Acupuncture books.
In present times there are many books about acupuncture available, based on modern acupuncture, the TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine). Lán Dì Press specialises and focuses on authentic or classical acupuncture, the CCM (Classical Chinese Medicine)
.

We publish books for students and practitioners, for daily life use in the acupuncture clinic. The books are based on the classics, integrated and merged with modern medical knowledge, applied and proven by many years of experience of acupuncturists.

Along with modern acupuncture books, there are many translated versions of the classical texts, such as the Nei Jing, Nan Jing, en Jia Yi Jing. These publications are for the practising acupuncturist not user friendly.

The strength of Lán Dì Press lays in the knowledge and diversity of its research team. The group is formed of sinologists, medical doctors, and experienced acupuncturists, whose joined effort makes it possible to apply the knowledge described in ancient texts, within daily acupuncture clinic. This ancient and original form of acupuncture is known as stems and branches or wu yun liu qi.

This ancient wisdom is integrated and merged with the most modern western medical science. The philosophical principles and laws as presented in the ancient books, seem to support the analytical way of description used by modern medical science.

The publishing house Lán Dì Press and the I.C.A. – International Colleges for Acupuncture, has as its aim to bring back the ancient knowledge of acupuncture, merged with the modern science of western medicine. The renaissance of ancient acupuncture is expressed in merely a handful of acupuncture colleges in the world (see in toolbar: Links, or click here). Actually, there are at this moment colleges specialized in this art of acupuncture in The Netherlands, Israel, Finland, England, and Sweden. Another way of spreading this knowledge is through books.
